Position Overview:

MNL is a full-service ecological restoration company. We provide decades of experience, knowledge, industry leadership and a variety of services. Our services range from backyard native seeding to large-scale restoration, bioengineering and everything in between.

MNL's Seed division is proud to have produced and provided hundreds of thousands of pounds of native seed to be planted into the local ecosystems. On an annual basis, our passionate team will mix, package, and distribute 150+ species and thousands of pounds of native plant species. Each of which fit a unique and valuable niche in developing habitats. A position as a Fulfillment Technician at MNL will provide hands on experience in the mixing and distribution of native grass and wildflower seeds to a wide range of restoration projects throughout the Midwest.

Hours and scheduling are flexible to suit the applicants' needs. Please provide preference for seasonality and scheduling in application. The ideal candidate would be looking to work 20-30 hours per week. An Ideal candidate would work 6-8 hours on Monday-Thursday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Order fulfillment: Mixing and weighting native seed to complete orders
• Shipping/Handling: Packaging and labeling orders for shipment
• Facility Organization: Keep all work area clean to avoid cross contamination and loss of product
• Occasional Seed production, Field maintenance, and Greenhouse work: field planting, weed mitigation, seed collecting, seed processing, transplanting, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience working in order fulfillment and shipping/handling
• Interest in native plants and ecosystems
• Ability to work in a detail-oriented position with minimal errors
• Ability to follow direction, work individually, and work within a team
• Ability to maintain regular work schedule

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, reach and move as needed
• Prolonged periods of time standing.
